We have all been there – you are using your Netflix account but for some reason, you find movie recommendations which you barely even watch.

You sit back and suddenly it hits you – surely someone else is using my account.

While Netflix allows you to use more than one device to log in, when you do not know who else is using your account, it can be a very frustrating experience.

But why is it important to know who is using your Netflix account?

Well, for starters, if you have fallen out with someone, then you surely don’t want them accessing your Netflix account anymore.

Additionally, Netflix, while it allows you to add devices to your account, it often be to add an extra family on Netflix. To share your account externally, you will need to pay.

Thus, for a peace of mind, you will need to see who is using your Netflix account so that you remove those you don’t want.

Here is how to do it:

  1. Log in to your Netflix account on the TV or PC.
  2. Hover your cursor over the profile avatar which will be on the top left of the screen.
  3. Then select Accounts & Settings.
  4. Go to Your Devices Here you will get a list of devices which have recently logged into your Netflix account.
  5. Click Sign Out on these accounts. Then once they are signed out, change the password.
  6. For Netflix on your phone, tap on the profile avatar which will be on the bottom right.
  7. Click on Registered Devices. Then select the device you want to remove, sign it out, then change the password.
  8. Changing the password is important because if the other party already knows the existing password, they will easily sign themselves back in.

And there you have it – you have now removed accounts you don’t want to be using your Netflix.
