Mentorship opportunities are back! If you are a woman about to start or have just started your career, then these are the opportunities for you.

Here, then, are some organizations offering women mentorship opportunities to grow in their careers.

She Code Africa

She Code Africa aims to bridge the gender gap in the tech industry. They do this in several ways, including academy programs, which are aimed at introducing young school girls to tech. and the Academy offers a wide range of tech training programs and boot camps.

Communities and Chapters are also aimed at helping women from across Africa connect and gain access to resources and events and thus, help each other succeed in the industry. Events and training are focused on empowering and increasing participation of girls and women in tech across Africa.

The Moremi Initiative Mentoring Programme

The Moremi Initiative for Women’s Leadership in Africa is a nonprofit organization founded in 2004.

It empowers women to take up leadership roles in their communities through providing spaces, opportunities and programs for women to gain knowledge and skills as leaders.

African Tech Vision Mentorship Programme

This mentorship programme was founded by Sohaila Ouffata, managing director of BMW i Ventures in Europe.

Female entrepreneurs and founders are the people supported by the program. This program aims to connect them with a network of global experts from the startup and tech scene.

Through a 10-week virtual hands-on program, they help women scale their businesses and also provide them with opportunities to establish relationships and network with global experts and successful entrepreneurs.
