If you are an African woman and are in tech, then you might be familiar with our ongoing series linking you to scholarship and mentorship opportunities in tech.

Well, today, we bring you more of these opportunities:

Elevate Women in Technology Scholarship

Elevate in a tech scholarship opportunity which aims to empower the next generation of female leaders to take the tech industry in the right direction.

This scholarship opportunity is open to female students at any educational level and field of study. In fact, there is only one application requirement that you need to meet to be eligible to apply – The students must be women who intend to enter a technical or non-technical career which leverages technology to make the world a better place.

Being involved in entrepreneurial endeavors and STEM fields of study would also be a plus but they are not a requirement.

If this sounds like a great opportunity for you, click here to apply before April 30, 2024.

AWS Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Machine Learning (ML) Scholarship Program

This scholarship program is a partnership between Amazon Web Services and Udacity and is aimed at underrepresented students (both from high school and college) and is meant to help them learn introductory concepts which will help prepare them for a career in tech, specifically in artificial intelligence and machine learning.

From the 2000, 500 of the top performers will earn a scholarship for a second and more advanced Nanodegree in deep learning and concepts of machine learning engineering. The recipients of this will also receive opportunities in mentorship and career development.

To qualify for this scholarship opportunity, you must be a female student over the age of 16, identify as underserved or underrepresented in technology and are currently enrolled in high school or college.
