Today, we present two significant opportunities at renowned institutions, Swansea University and Macquarie University, both at the forefront of STEM education.

Swansea University Eira Francis Davies Scholarship for Female Students 2024

The Eira Francis Davies Scholarship is a full tuition fee scholarship ordinarily awarded to an outstanding female student from any developing country, including African countries.

To qualify for this opportunity, you must be an outstanding student pursuing a postgraduate Master’s within the Faculty of Medicine, Health, and Life Science.

Opportunities in this field include pursuing courses in health informatics and health data science, which are great for those interested in medicine and technology.

Aside from being a female student and being from a developing country, there is a whole list of criteria one needs to meet to be eligible for this scholarship.

Among the qualifications is that one must be a national or permanent resident of Eira Francis Davies Eligible Countries 2024 as per the World Bank Country and Lending Group classification as ‘low income’ or ‘lower-middle income’ as of 1 July 2023.

So, if you meet the criteria, you can apply here before May 26, 2024.

Macquarie University Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship for African Women in STEM 2024

This Macquarie scholarship is open to African women in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. It aims to support and encourage African women to explore their full potential and help them fulfill their quest for knowledge.

Among the requirements are that you must be a woman who is a national of a sub-Saharan country and must be a full-time student studying on campus.

If you meet the above and other requirements, you can click here to apply for the scholarship as soon as possible, as the deadline is unspecified.
